Baked Pears with Blue Cheese

A lovely combination of sweet and savoury flavours.

You Will Need:

  • 2 pears
  • 125 g creamy blue cheese
  • ½ cup (125 ml) fresh cream
Garnish
  • honey
  • thyme leaves

Method:

Preheat oven to 200 °C.

Peel pears and cut each in half, remove pips.

Butter an ovenproof dish and fan pear halves in the dish.

Crumble blue cheese over and drizzle with fresh cream.

Bake for 20 minutes.

Serve warm, drizzled with honey and scattered with some thyme leaves.
