Campfire Coffee

The manne like to boast about their secret coffee recipes around the camp fire. This one is our favourite! A delicious traditional South African treat.
Campfire Coffee

You Will Need:

Main Dish
  • 250 g good quality ground coffee
  • ½ t (2,5 ml) salt
  • ½ t (2,5 ml) Hot English Mustard Powder

Method:

Pre - Blend

Sift everything together and decant into an airtight tin or container.

To Make Coffee

Add 2 t (10 ml) of coffee blend per person to the coffee pot. Pour boiling water over. Leave to brew on a warm stone near the fire. Strain into mugs if you are not using a plunger pot. Serve black with or without sugar.
