Chicken Thigh Skewers On The Braai

Boneless chicken thighs are a succulent choice for making these skewers. The added vegetables stretch the meat and ensure a colourful, nutritious end result.

You Will Need:

  • 4 x sachets Ina Paarman’s Spicy Cajun Flavour Bomb 
  • 4 T (60 ml) oil
  • 800 g chicken thighs, deboned and skinned
  • 4 baby marrows, sliced 2 - 3 cm long
  • 1 red pepper, cut into large cubes
  • 1 red onion, cut into leaves
  • 4 x sachets Ina Paarman’s Spicy Cajun Flavour Bomb 
  • 4 T (60 ml) oil
  • 800 g chicken thighs, deboned and skinned
  • 4 baby marrows, sliced 2 - 3 cm long
  • 1 red pepper, cut into large cubes
  • 1 red onion, cut into leaves

Method:

Mix the Flavour Bomb sachets with the oil.

Prepare a braai fire with hot coals.

Skewer the unseasoned chicken thighs, alternating with the baby marrow, red pepper, and red onion.

Do not season.

Braai until ¾ done, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Brush with the Flavour Bomb mixture on all sides, turn once more, and cook until done.

Serve with potato wedges and a salad.
