Creamy Oats with Cinnamon Sugar and Almonds

You Will Need:

Main Dish
  • 1 cup (250 ml) oats
  • 1½ cups (375 ml) fresh full cream milk
  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • ½ t (2,5 ml) salt
Cinnamon Sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1 t (5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup (125 ml) flaked almonds
  • warm milk for serving
Main Dish
  • 1 cup (250 ml) oats
  • 1½ cups (375 ml) fresh full cream milk
  • 2 cups (500 ml) water
  • ½ t (2,5 ml) salt
Cinnamon Sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) sugar
  • 1 t (5 ml) ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup (125 ml) flaked almonds
  • warm milk for serving

Method:

The night before soak the oats in the milk. Next morning, add water and salt and bring to a slow simmer. Stir now and again and cook for 10 - 15 minutes. Dish the oats into warmed bowls. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together and sprinkle over porridge. Top with almonds and serve with warm milk. Enjoy!
