Fresh Mint Relish

A wonderfully flavourful mixture. The vinegar will dull the colour of the mint but the flavour remains great!
Fresh Mint Relish

You Will Need:

  • 1 cup (250 ml) fresh mint leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 fresh green chilli, seeded and finely chopped
  • ½ t (2,5 ml) Ina Paarman’s Seasoned Sea Salt
  • 2 t (10 ml) castor sugar
  • 2 T (30 ml) cider vinegar
Garnish
  • fresh mint leaves

Method:

Put chopped mint leaves and chillies in a bowl and mix thoroughly.

Season with Seasoned Sea Salt and stir in sugar and cider vinegar, mixing well.

Serve chilled, garnished with mint leaves.
