Fruity Slushies

You Will Need:

You will need

4 cups (1 litre) of fruit in season cut into pieces. We used 2 nectarines, 2 oranges and 200 g strawberries (reserve 2 for garnish)
1 T (15 ml) lemon juice
pinch of salt
2 T (30 ml) honey
1 cup (250 ml) apple or orange juice
2 cups (500 ml) ice

Method:

Freeze the cut up fruit for ± 1 hour before mixing. Blend fruit, lemon juice, salt, honey, apple juice and ice in a blender on fast speed. Taste slushy and add more honey if desired. Divide among glasses. Garnish with strawberry halves if using and serve straight away with a long-handled spoon.
