Malted Chocolate Mousse Treats

You Will Need:

  • 1¼ cups (310 ml) boiling water
  • 1 x 310 g Ina Paarman’s Chocolate Mousse Mix
  • 1 cup (250 ml) fresh whipping cream
  • 125 g malted puffs in milk chocolate
  • edible gold dusting powder (optional)
  • 1¼ cups (310 ml) boiling water
  • 1 x 310 g Ina Paarman’s Chocolate Mousse Mix
  • 1 cup (250 ml) fresh whipping cream
  • 125 g malted puffs in milk chocolate
  • edible gold dusting powder (optional)

Method:

Sprinkle the Chocolate Mousse over measured boiling hot water and beat until well blended.

Leave to cool in the fridge for 15 minutes.

In a smaller mixing bowl, whip the cream until soft peak stage.

Using the same beaters, whip the chocolate mixture again until smooth.

Gently fold the whipped cream into the mousse using a spatula or metal spoon.

Crush ± 12 of the malted choc balls and fold into the mousse.

Stir until evenly blended.

Divide between individual glasses. Cover and refrigerate.


To Serve

Top each individual serving with malted choc balls.

Dust with edible gold powder.
