Mushroom Bread

Something new and more delicious than garlic bread! Try it, you will love it. Makes a perfect gift to take to a braai.
Mushroom Bread

You Will Need:

  • 100 g butter, softened
  • 1 x 125 g Ina Paarman’s Mushroom Pesto
  • 1 French loaf

Method:

Mash the softened butter and Mushroom Pesto together.

Slice the bread (not right through) into 1½ cm thick slices.

Spread mushroom butter between the slices.

Spread any remaining mixture over the top of the bread.

Wrap bread into baking paper or foil, twist the ends, cracker style.

Bake at 180 °C for 20 - 25 minutes.

Serve hot with our Creamy Mushroom Soup.
