Peas and Brussel Sprouts

We are combining these two vegetables (loved by the English).
Peas and Brussel Sprouts

You Will Need:

Main Dish
  • 250 - 300 g brussel sprouts, trim off the stem end, leave sprouts whole or cut each one into halves or quarter wedges
  • 250 g frozen peas
  • 1 T (15 ml) olive oil
  • 2 t (10 ml) Ina Paarman's Vegetable Spice

Method:

Peel off some of the outer leaves of the sprouts and steam with the sprouts until nearly done, add the peas and olive oil and just steam for ± 4 minutes until defrosted and heated through.

Season with Vegetable Spice and serve.
