Roast Peppers

How often have you balked at the idea of switching on your oven to roast 1 or 2 peppers for a salad? Or even more time consuming, to toast them over a gas flame? Here is the solution.

You Will Need:

  • 1, 2 or 3 whole red bell peppers

Method:

Preheat the air fryer to 200 °C for a few minutes. Place pepper/s in the air fryer basket.

Roast for 10 minutes, turn and roast for another 10 minutes until blistered.

Put pepper/s in a pyrex mixing bowl, cover with cling film.

Leave to sweat for ± 15 minutes to loosen skins.

Pull off skins, remove core and pips.

Ideal to use in salads or mixed in with steamed or roasted vegetables or pasta.
