Spaghetti with Prawns & Bacon

A recipe from Estelle Gildenhuys in Australia. It was her late father Barry’s party piece!

You Will Need:

Gremolata
  • ½ cup (125 ml) freshly chopped parsley
  • zest from 1 lemon
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

Method:

Cook the spaghetti in boiling water until done.

Drain, toss with Pasta Spice and olive oil. Keep on the side.

Add 1 T of oil to a big frying pan, add bacon, and stir-fry until crisp.

Add garlic and chillies.

Cook for 1 minute.

Add cleaned prawns to the pan and stir-fry until opaque (whitish in colour). No longer than 3 minutes.

Return cooked spaghetti to the pan, toss all together, and heat through.

Mix all the ingredients for the gremolata together and sprinkle over the dish.

Serve straight away.
