Best Greek Salad

A true Greek salad (horiatiki) is made without regular salad leaves: only tomato, red onion, cucumber, kalamata olives, feta and dried origanum. Follow our recipe to make this global favourite, the traditional way, drizzled with our Greek Dressing.

Best Greek Salad

You Will Need:

  • 400 g baby tomatoes, quartered
  • ½ English cucumber, chopped (remove seeds if you want to)
  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • ½ cup (125 g) kalamata olives
  • 200 g firm feta cheese, sliced
  • 1-2 teaspoons(5 - 10 ml) dried origanum
  • Ina Paarman’s Greek Dressing, for finishing
  • 400 g baby tomatoes, quartered

  • 1 small red onion, finely sliced
  • ½ cup (125 g) kalamata olives
  • 200 g firm feta cheese, sliced
  • 1-2 teaspoons(5 - 10 ml) dried origanum
  • Ina Paarman’s Greek Dressing, for finishing

Method:

Place the tomatoes, cucumber, onion and olives in a salad bowl and toss to mix.

Top with the chunks / slabs of feta, then scatter with origanum.

Drizzle generously with Greek Dressing before serving.
