Peri-Peri Chicken Burgers

These scrumptious burgers come together in minutes – using regular chicken breast fillets and a hot pan. The Flavour Bomb can also be mixed with mayonnaise to make a delicious burger sauce.

You Will Need:

  • 2 x sachets Ina Paarman’s Portuguese Peri-Peri Flavour Bomb 
  • 2 T (30 ml) oil, plus 1 T (15 ml) extra
  • 2 x chicken breasts, skinless & boneless
To Serve
  • burger rolls
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • mayonnaise
  • 2 x sachets Ina Paarman’s Portuguese Peri-Peri Flavour Bomb 
  • 2 T (30 ml) oil, plus 1 T (15 ml) extra
  • 2 x chicken breasts, skinless & boneless
To Serve
  • burger rolls
  • lettuce
  • tomato
  • mayonnaise

Ina’s Tip

You can make a perinaise dressing by mixing 1 cup (250 ml) mayonnaise with 1 x sachet of Portuguese Peri-Peri Bomb.

Method:

Mix the Flavour Bomb sachets with 2 T (30 ml) oil.

Butterfly and flatten the chicken breasts.

Do not season.

Heat the 1 T (15 ml) oil in a skillet over high heat.

Pan fry the butterflied chicken breasts and baste them with the Flavour Bomb mixture.

Cook until done.

Place them on a buttered roll bottom.

Drizzle the remaining pan juices over the chicken.

Serve on burger rolls with accompaniments.
